Architectural collective (1966 - 1978)
Archizoom and Superstudio were Florentine avant-garde groups founded in the 1960s that rejected modernist functionalism through conceptual projects, ironic utopias, and critical counter-design. Their polemical stance against industrial design and mass production directly attacked the rationalist orthodoxy of 1950s-60s Italian design.
